Mister Camel is explaining some important details about the Egyptian Arabic Course on StackArabic.com!
Egyptian Arabic - The most spoken dialect of Arabic

All Egyptians are able to speak this dialect, it is also understood by all (dialect) Arabic speakers. Think: Morocco, Syria, Oman, Chad and more countries.
One of the many reasons to learn it! Be understood by millions of Arabic speakers (native and non-native).
Not only that: also understand different dialects of Arabic and even MSA (Modern Standard Arabic).

An Arabic family for the purpose of MSA vs Egyptian Arabic.
MSA or Egyptian Arabic?

There's a difference. You have official texts in books, documents in MSA. In the news it is spoken. It's also used in education. It can help you to read the Quran or the Bible in Arabic (Classical Arabic).

If you wanted to understand MSA and you have knowledge of Egyptian Arabic you'll be able to do so without much effort.
The dialect has been influenced by French (Napoleon was in Egypt, there are monuments and places to visit from this period of time). It has also been influenced by Turkish (as it was once part of the Ottoman Empire). Coptic and English as well! If you speak Turkish you have an advantage in learning the dialect. If not, don't worry! You still will be able to learn it easily.
Egyptian Arabic is a very unique dialect of Arabic to learn, it's fun and it broadens your horizons (in informal and formal contexts: holidays and business for example).
