Important phrases!
- I’m from the USA-انا من امريكا-ana min amreeka (Change this to fit the country you are from, e.g. Belgium-بلجيكا-belgeeka, France-فرنسا-faransa, Italy-ايطاليا-italya). A dedicated video on how to pronounce many more countries can be found in the course! Yours is more than likely in there.
- I need help-انا محتاج/ة مساعدة-ana mihtaeg/a musaeda (mihtaeg: محتاج or mihtaega: محتاجة and what is the difference? The first one is masculin and the second one is feminin, so: mihtaeg as a male, mihtaega as a female). If this is confusing, it’ll certainly be cleared up in the course!
- I speak a little bit of Arabic-انا بتكلم/ي عربي شوية-ana betkalem/i arabi shweya (بتكلم or بتكلمي is the same situation as n°2, masculin: betkalem or بتكلم and feminin: betkalemi or بتكلمي).
- What about, I speak X language? Use the phrase from n°3 to complete the sentence in a conversation. As an example:
- I speak French-انا بتكلم/ي فرنساوي-ana betkalem/i faranasawi. The same goes for ANY language. You simply need to know how to say the language in Egyptian Arabic. All of that is also provided in the course. Do check it out! There are three buttons on this page, they bring you to: the course, the front page and the blog!
